Shocking news - please read

Dear all,

As you may have seen around school, PlastISH released new yellow recycling bins three weeks ago. This week, the team emptied some of them and was shocked by what they found. Apart from some plastic bottles, there were napkins, paper cups, a candy cane, dirty wrappers, ice-cream sticks, a paper plate and liquids which had spilt inside the bag. This is unacceptable. As was mentioned in previous newsletters, these are no ordinary bins. Not only is the bin itself shaped like a large plastic bottle, but the labels also clearly indicate to only throw in empty plastic bottles and bottle caps.

If the ISH community cannot follow these instructions and use the bins correctly, we will, unfortunately, be forced to remove them.

The team is doing its best to implement a great initiative which benefits the ISH community and the planet. In order for this to happen, you need to collaborate. PlastISH's responsibility is to recycle plastic, not sort trash.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: plastish@ishthehague.nl

Thank you for your cooperation,

The PlastISH Team
